Yes, I know there will be an album in 2005. It's called Beethoven Was Deaf, part II.

This is my favourite song on the album so I'm delighted he's released it. The video is awful, of course. Morrissey just can't make a good video. I don't understand why.

The b-sides seem OK, nothing special. sadly, the best one seems to be the James Maker cover. Oh well. Still, pretty good all round.

I actually thought this was the best set of b-sides yet. I also thought LMKY had the worst b-sides. The production seems slightly edgier on these three b-sides. 'Candle' has a production quite similar to the original, and yes, it is the best of the three b-sides, but I also thought 'Slum Mums' and 'Public Image' were great, melancholy, bitter tracks too. It helps that they're largely acoustic in nature - JF's production can't much affect acoustic guitars. But I have to say that I was very satisfied with these three b-sides. I still think IHFJ is lame though.

Oh yeah, and the photo on the back of the single is, to my eyes, the best picture to come out of these sessions - Moz walking past the derelict building in LA. Beautiful.

The only resemblance 'Father Ted' has to Moz, is that it's an Irish guy in a priest suit. That's it! If Moz was a 'toe-head', maybe then I could see a stronger resemblance. I also don't want to hear about how Dermot Morgan is Morrissey's first cover star in many years. Only Morrissey's sideburns are gray, not his whole head. If Moz dons the priest suit in ten more years...that's another story. I think i've just about covered it all. I've already said it, there's no need to send more 'Father Ted' smack.
