Just got the verified word in -- Morrissey will not be playing the Fuji Rock Festival on July 30 as stated on their website. He was never confirmed to play in the first place so I am not sure why they are advertising it.

I am not sure if there will be any more touring this year (doesn't sound like it) but I will post as usual if I hear anything.

His not playing at fuji is just a rumor.
It is very sure that he will appear. Thsi festival is the biggest summer festival in Japan, and every powerful music magazine mentions his appearance.
Everyone has the first time!!

He clearly has decided not to play the Japanese festival (or anywhere else!) for some reason. Since, just a few months ago, it was totally a go according to his band and crew. "Never confimed to play" my a_s_s!

Well, of course Morrissey won't be there, because he's too big of a p#u#s#s#y to see himself upstaged by Johnny Marr and the Healers.
And according to my studio friends in L.A., Moz hasn't done jack for a new album.
No contract means no recording time.
Give it up.
