Have you failed to outgrow the songs of Morrissey/Marr. Do you frequently wrap yourself in the Union Jack and toss gladioli at your reflection in the mirror? Do you quiff your hair and recite Oscar Wilde in the boneyard? Are you celibate? Vegetarian? The 18th pale descendent of some old queen or other? Did your life change for the worse when they broke up in 1987? Would your life change for the better if the "Severed Alliance" got back together? Would you like the chance to tell them so, personally as part of our loving documentary?
As you know Moz is playing the Coachella Festival in California the first week of October. The NME has reported that Marr may play with Beck, who is also playing at the festival. If Moz actually shows up for Coachella and the rumors are true about Marr, that means that this will be the first time since 1987 they have shared a stage. It’s also been reported that Moz will play three Smiths songs….therefore, the mere impossibility of Marr sitting in the wings whilst someone else plays his riffs lends credence to a possible reunion.
This is why we are appealing to you. We are reporters who are trying to make a difference.
