There's another cover band called These Charming Men in London!!!! I've seen them a couple of times and they're ok but this Irish band seem closer to the original.

Yes, they are brilliant. I went to see them last February, expecting
at most a bit of campy fun, and before they came on I heard a guy next
to me say "they're just like the real thing" and I was quite skeptical to
say the least, well, half-way through the second song I was up at the
front jumping around, completely forgetting where I was, and totally
believing I was seeing The Smiths. As one journalist said in his review
"The Smiths were on stage that night and nothing will convince me otherwise".
Go see them, they really have to be seen to be believed.
