Great photos, but I have to admit that even Morrissey is starting to show his age, but what is age? Just a number right? For those who can't see it: note jowls (BIG ONES!), receding hairline and the grey hair.

I don't think he looks great, after seeing these photos (which were very good, b.t.w.) and him in concert on the 15th I think the best word to describe him is haggard. Just goes to show you the power of flattering lighting, make-up, airbrushing, compare these to the beautiful pics of him in his house in the Nov. 6 Times piece - doesn't look like the same person!!!

It's amazing.
After all of these years of being an obsessed fan and then falling out of the obsession, I still am touched when I see a recent photo of him. I thought that phase was over. And, it is over, however, there will always be a part of me, and I imagine many others like me, who will keep a piece of Morrissey in their heart. I guess he's a part of my life, my history. It all seems so strange.It must be
the Morrissey Phenomenon.

interesting you mention the Linder photos. Compare this set to the one in Vegas and you notice something else...the black outfits with the turned down lapel, the whitish necklace he wears around his neck...I swear to God his new clothing style looks like that of a priest.

does anyone out there know if Morrissey appeared on Billy Bragg's BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday the 13th. There was a posting last Friday from someone who said he'd heard Moz was due to appear. I missed the show and I haven't seen anything on the site about it, so anybody got any answers ?

I cannot agree more. Being around half the age of the Rusholme Ruffian myself I still feel inadequate and shockingly podgy when I pull my shirt loose from my jeans and dance my legs down to the knees to "Rank".
I was oh so nearly there with the sideburns but unfortunately I had to trim. My school (yes I stand by the board full of fear and intention) have decided that facial hair among students is to be curtailed so we educators must suffer like the little children.
God what a ramble.

What the hell people..... he is getting older!!!!!!!! of course he is going to show it!!!!! The important thing to remember is that he is Morrissey for christ's sake and no matter how "haggard" he gets he will still always be better looking than any other man his age..... I really like the grey on the sides... sean connery better watch out!

screw what he looks like (as long as he is not ill)! we love him because of who he is and what he says. his voice. the packaging is different these days, but that was always peripheral.
