That was a great performance worth checking out if you have cable. I also have a tape of Morrissey on the Johnny Carson show before it became Jay Leno's show. He was wearing his shirt from the "November Spawned a monster" video and he appeared to have black eyeliner on that day too. What was strange was that Johnny seemed to really like him. It would be nice to see some of Morrissey's U.S. television appearance be put on a video like they did with the Smiths video that came out awhile back.

so far the tonight show with johnny carson has been the best u.s. television performance, mr. carson doing his infamous cattle calls, and asking bill cosby if he has ever seen anyone tear it up like that. snl is pretty good, but stephen does not look like he wants to be there. everyone should check out his performance on mtv in 1992, it was the promotion for your arsenal, it's really good, during the interview a guest asked stephen, if he misses the smiths.

That explains a lot. You are an avid television watcher - now it all is clear.

To the person who mentioned it before. It would be great for the company doing the Oye Estanban Video collection to include the tonigh show, SNL, MTV, and The late show appearences included in the collection thats going to be on DVD. Now that would be a no-brainer of a collection to buy. But if not, if someone has those videos on Tape, i would love to buy a copy.

Seems like only yesterday I saw the show for the first time, I really cannot believe its been seven years! anyhow, the show was great, and I especially like the part when Michael Keaton announced Morrissey and the spot light was on the band ... *sighs*

Yes. Those were the days back in '91/'92 when Moz was actually promoted on US TV. If anybody is interested or missed them, I have MANY of those live TV performances on one tape that I personally recorded back in '91/'92/'97. Some of them are: In Concert '91(3 live songs '91), Hangin' W/MTV '92 2 songs), 120 minutes Tonite(one song) Show '92(2 songs), SNL '92(2 songs), Letterman '97(1 song), + more. Email me if interested in a copy. Mike

I remember being in college and not going out that night so that I could watch him live on SNL. Ah the memories......

Blake:(That is an entirely inappropriate question to ask me and you ought to be ashamed of yourself and you should apologize. Your kind of sickness doesn't belong on this web-site. Maybe you should visit a local church in your neighborhood (preferably Catholic) and commit your life to good rather than evil.

I have that on video. At the end, Morrissey tried to prevent one of the band from talking to Chris Farley. What was that about? I guess Morrissey can do whatever HE wants, and be a big ole cool jerk, but the minute you mess up, watch out! Although some mistakes CAN stay with you for a lifetime. Sad, really.

I have it on video too, but who cares about that? I just liked seeing him sing in his gold lame shirt! Then he took his jacket off! Wish he had taken his shirt off too! And then his pants! Wonder if he likes boxers or briefs? I think he likes boxers! That would have whipped the crowd into a frenzy! Is it possible for someone to be too sexy? In Morrissey's case, no probably not. There was a band with him?
