OK, maybe it's not totally confirmed at this point. So consider it still a rumor. From ct:

As regards to Morrissey playing the National Concert Hall in Dublin: I went over there to check it out but they say it's not absolutely confirmed and probably won't be until early in September.

I had discussed the Ireland dates yesterday with my friend in Edinburgh however he thought I was out of my mind. I guess he was right. I was anticipating seeing Moz in Ireland, maybe it will still happen. I already called in an order of flowers to bring with me.

Along the same lines as the post, I emailed the NC Hall about trying to reserve tickets. They said as of yet they had not heard from the promoter but there must be some bit of truth to it all since they also told me to try back early September.

Excuse me David T. -
Who was "the man" that had originally given us the Ireland dates? Do you think we should still rely on the dates? Or will he post you an update? I am baffled!

Yes, David T. could you please ask your source once again. It would be greatly appreciated. (Of course, if the source is Moz, there is no need to ask again) Thank you.

Well I had just come from the airport from visiting some friends that work at Foleys in San Fran - and I stopped at Smyths for a Pint - And ran into some fellow Moz fans - they said that they had no info on him coming - so I want to know what our source is!

I live 10 minutes away from the National Concert Hall, rang them today and they said that tickets would be on sale at their booking office from next Wednesday September 1.

All seated of course.

I e-mailed the NCH in Dublin and they replied saying they are still in negotiations with Morrissey's management but expect to confirm he will play in Decemeber over the next two weeks. Hope this helps.
