Mozipedia - The Encyclopedia of Morrissey and The Smiths goes on sale in the USA from Tuesday 28 September, published by Plume through Penguin/Viking. It is virtually the same as the British edition which came out last year - same blue cover with shiny quiff, same layout, same description of ‘Pregnant For The Last Time’ as ‘Brylcreemed pop genius’ and the very same entry for Morrissey-Solo on page 272. The only differences are it’s a handbag-friendly couple of centimetres smaller, has one extra entry for Swords squeezed in at the end of S and costs $30 (less on-line at Amazon etc) which means it’s now, thankfully, cheaper than some of the exorbitant prices previously being charged for a UK import.
To all its previous readers, I’d also like to say sincere thanks for the letters, emails and entry-suggestions over the past year and I hope future readers of this edition find Mozipedia as fascinating as they have.
