"A 1977 documentary about a cult Manchester band famous for sacking Morrissey is to have its world premiere in Salford.

After discovering several hours of archive film stuffed away in a Manchester attic, a documentary about Wythenshawe punks, Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds, Morrissey's first ever band before he formed The Smiths, is to be shown at King's Arms, Bloom Street, Salford on Friday, March 4 at 7.30pm. . Whether any footage of Morrissey is included in the 30 hours of film, the article didn't say. Vini Reilly, who worked with Morrissey on Viva Hate, was also in the band.
