Missing Link writes: I can't believe it!... Dev Alahan has been up all night drinking, looking like shite following his bowel cancer scare and his girlfriend dumping him because he told an old flame about his problem before his wife-to-be... and guess what, crooning in the background, cheering up Dev is our good old mate MORRISSEY!.
"How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?" sings Morrissey, before it is rudely turned off by his old flame.
Now the big question: Does the You Are The Quarry CD belong to Dev or Maiya ??????
Now the 2nd big question: Is this the first appearance of Morrissey on Corrie ???---
MyMelody also writes: I was watching Corrie tonight and as Corrie fans may know, Dev is currently suffering from bowel cancer and his girlfriend left him. So who should he turn to in his hour of need? Our Moz! He was listening to it very loud until Sunita came round and turned it off. Dev normally listens to Dido, so I was very impressed. The song was clearly picked with Dev's predicament in mind. Yes, I am sad!
But Morrissey loves Corrie so I'm sure he'd be pleased.

(*Morrissey claims he can only think of one truly great British album and that this is it)
Morrissey's contribution to the Observer's top 100 British albums of all time... he could have included Smiths albums. Others that did are Tony Parsons, Stuart Murdoch, Mike Skinner of The Streets and Tim Burgess of The Charlatans.---
The 100 greatest British albums - The Observer Music Monthly, June 2004 'The Smiths' is at 21, 'The Queen Is Dead' is at 37, 'Hatful of Hollow' is at 47 and 'Meat Is Murder' is at 62.

Joemoz writes: The program for Roskilde has been published, and it appears that Morrissey will be playing Saturday the 3rd, not friday the 2nd as has been reported.
Also it is a bit strange that Loveshop - whose lead singer is a huge fan of Morrissey - are playing only an hour later on a different stage, which means that he will miss the concert.

John, England writes:
You are the Quarry has done the unthinkable (for a Morrissey album) in the UK chart: it's started to climb back up!
It's only a tiny increase (31 to 28) but all previous solo albums (possible exception of Viva Hate) have sunk without trace following a very high initial entry. Could it be the airplay for FOTGTD which is already getting played a lot more than Irish Blood (Radio 2 single of the week last week and put on Virgin playlist)? Or maybe the exposure at Meltdown?
'First of the Gang' as of this morning (21st June) has been added to the Radio 2 B-list joining the likes of George Michael and Janet Jackson! R2 is the UK's most listened-to station. They hardly played Irish Blood at all (didn't even make the C-list).

MyMelody writes: There is a section on the entertainment page of the News Of The World (with Rav and Polly) called 'Pssst' where they basically slag someone off and avoid being sued by not using their name. See if you can guess who this is about...
"Pssst...
This dour singer has convinced the world he's gay, but a female music journalist tells a very different story... and it involves a hairbrush. What a charming man."
Obviously it's hilarious, but also quite offensive. If you'd like to contact Rav or Polly their number is 0207 782 4444 and their email is [email protected]---
mick ransommich writes: There is an unsavoury comment on page 16 of this 'Newspaper' today.
It appears in a column put together by 'Rav & Polly'...
I don't need to spell out to whom this childish and tasteless comment is referring to, suffice to say that this article is yet another example of the direction in which British journalism is heading.
A bit of advice for Rav & Polly... The only people you are really hurting are your families. You know how much they really wanted you to be good people. It's never too late to do the decent thing...get a life.

They have the black t-shirt with Morrissey in Old English script on the front and the machine gun with You Are the Quarry beneath the back collar. Seemingly a full range of sizes, too.
$20 US and under $5 for shipping to U.S. and Canada.
Direct link to this item is here.---
Tour shirts are also now available on the official site.
