UPDATE (July 11): This interview never took place and is completely made up. Please read Morrissey's response to the article.<

This must have occured around the Latin American tour back in March. Any volunteers for a translation to English? Please email me. From Alfredge:

I found this very interesting interview at a big Argentinian internet music/book distribution. It is in Spanish, some interesting notes are in it! Enjoy!

PETA praises Morrissey for being a long-time vegetarian in the "Purrs and Grrs" section of their magazine... (link to online article from David from Windsor, Ontario, Canada)

Here's a scan from Natalie as it appears in the printed "Animal Times" magazine:

Mike Joyce / Andy Rourke in Designer Magazine

Excerpt:

Mike Joyce on the royalties court case: "...a lot of people don't think about the second part of that statement. The judges statement wasn't only "Devious, truculent and unreliable" because there's a second part to that, and its the same sentence, the judge said he was "Devious , truculent and unreliable where his own interests were at stake". What exactly he means in that is that he was being devious in what would help him in is evidence, so basically he's embroidering his evidence. If you telling the truth then why do you need to embroider your evidence. Its ridiculous, almost laughable."

I just found this old review from the Buenos Aires show (March 30) called "Morrissey: El Glamour del Poeta Sensible" at El Foco. The review is in Spanish but since is pretty uninteresting I don't think it's worth a translation.

However, the best part of it is a video of "Shoplifters Of The World Unite", the last song HE sang in Argentina. (RealVideo required)

Hello everyone, I recently ran into Alain at a club in Hollywood and me being a big Moz fan of course I approached him. I asked him if they had made progress with signing onto a record label, he said that Moz was still into dealing with his manager but no record label yet. He also mentioned that as soon as that was settled, (if ever), they were planning to do another small tour around a couple of cities including Moz Angeles. He then said that he was pushing Morrissey into having a huge tour with larger venues because he really felt like rocking and going all out. So I guess everyone could expect another Moz tour very soon. This info is legit because Alain wasn't too tipsy when I spoke to him. Thanks Alain!
